Exile

Mehdi Hmili's "Exile" joins the Official Selection, followed by a presentation and discussion. In one of Tunisia's largest steel mills, Mohamed suffers an accident, leaving a metal fragment embedded in his head. As his body deteriorates and the pain becomes constant, he embarks on a path of revenge that transcends the personal.

Filmed in sepia tones with a touch of rusted orange, the Tunisian film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival.
